In your Minecraft Launcher, a new profile will be added named OptiFine you will want to use this profile in order for Optifine to work. how do you install optifine with the new launcher i decided 'what the heck might as well get uesd to the new minecraft launcher in case i need it' so i installed it but the optifine installation wasnt there. Select Install in the window that pops up. Here, you can find OptiFine for all the available versions of Minecraft.
